Pulp Fiction

Pulp Fiction directed by Quentin Tarantino is a masterpiece of a film. Through different stories that intertwine, you get to see hitmen at their finest and their lowest points. With iconic actors, such as John Travolta, Samuel L. Jackson, Uma Thurman, and Bruce Willis; this film is sure to appeal to anyone searching for a wonderful crime and comedy film. You will watch as nervous robbers, experienced hitmen, gangster bosses, and even a boxer get themselves into, and out of, trouble. With high action-fighting scenes to witty dialogue that we love about Quentin Tarantino's films, this is a classic that everyone should watch.

This movie is one of those classics where you don't hear about it that often, but when you hear the title "Pulp Fiction", it sounds so familiar. This happens a lot with older movies, such as The Breakfast Club, so I thought that Pulp Fiction was more of a "Breakfast Club" sort of movie. As soon as I heard that Pulp Fiction was directed by Quentin Tarantino, I knew I was wrong. Even though this movie has a lot of action, very much unlike The Breakfast Club, it still has that classic 90s feel of drugs and love and fighting.

That's one thing I love about Quentin Tarantino, his movies always have a good 90s feel to them. Whether they're set in the 60s or the 1850s, his movies always have that classic Hollywood feel to them that any movie lover can't get enough of. Quentin Tarantino is definitely one of the best writers/directors of his time, and his intricate movies always amaze me.

If you have seen this movie, you will know what I'm about to talk about; if not, don't worry, there are no spoilers here! But, my favorite part of this movie is when Vincent Vega (John Travolta) and Mia Wallace (Uma Thurman) go to the restaurant, "Jack Rabbit Slims". It seems like such a cool place to go! Waiters and waitresses dress up like movie stars and customers get to enjoy shakes and burgers in cool old cars! Yes, please! And Uma Thurman dances it out like Fall Out Boy always says in their song "Uma Thurman"! Iconic!

Also, the soundtrack is great! I personally hadn't heard any of the songs before, but they really added to the story and I personally love that genre of music. "Son Of A Preacher Man" by Dusty Springfield and "Girl, You'll Be A Woman Soon" by Urge Overkill are two songs from this movie that I will definitely be adding to my playlist!
