The Hulu original, 11.22.63 is a sci-fi mini-series based on the book by Stephen King. A lonely high school teacher, Jake Epping (James Franco) is told by a friend how to travel back in time, and Jake is giving the mission to try and stop the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. This task is not easy; the past doesn't want to be changed and will do anything in its power to stop Jake from changing this historical event.

This show is filled with love, friendship, and surprises that leave you thinking about the past. I'm not one to race to watch the new thriller tv show, but this show was amazing! Everything from the coloring of scenes to the acting to the writing, this show is impeccably done and I would recommend it for anyone, even if they're like me and don't always love sci-fi or thrillers.

This talented cast is also enough for anyone to want to watch this show: James Franco, Sarah Gadon, George Mackay, and Chris Cooper to name a few. Even if you aren't familiar with some of these actors, you sure will be after watching this mini-series! The ups and downs that these actors have to go through are some that I've never seen before in a series. From fighting verbally to fighting with lots of blood and falling in love, these characters go through it all! And they do an astounding job! Like, if I could, I would give them all the best actor and actress Emmy Awards!

11.22.63 is also an amazing show to watch if you are interested in history. You'll learn a lot about the background scenes and events that led to the assassination of JFK and even just learn more about the American 60s (which to me is the epitome of American life).

I also really like 11.22.63 because it doesn't drawl out time travel. Suddenly Jake Epping is just able to time travel and he just goes back in time. That's all there is to it. And I like that because there are probably millions of shows that delve deeper into how time travel might work (One of my favorites being the show Timeless), and I like how in this show the point isn't time travel, it's stopping the assassination of JFK. 11.22.63 gets right to the point and doesn't question the debatable topic that is time travel.

You can watch this show only on Hulu, and if you're able to I would 100% put it on your to watch list! You'll learn more about the infamous assassination of President John F. Kennedy, Lee Harvey Oswald, and see how life was in the 60s. Watching these events unfold will make you sweat with anticipation and cringe when things don't go the way you thought they would. With unexpected twists and turns it is hard to not watch all eight episodes at once. Learn more about America's history and fall in love with fictional characters.

Go watch this show and once you do, comment down below what you thought of 11.22.63! Without spoiling anything, of course!
