May The Fourth Be With You: A Star Wars Review

A long time ago in a galaxy far,
far away....

*DUHHH DUHDUHDUHHH* (I hope you know what that sounds like)

Happy May fourth everyone! Of course, this day is the national day to celebrate Star Wars (I honestly don't know if that's true or not, but I'm just gonna say it is and move on)! Star Wars is a spectacular movie franchise that just keeps on expanding. I'm serious though, Star Wars has so many outputs I'm not even sure it's legal (it most definitely is). I know no one asked, but I will now recap all my favorite facets of the Star Wars franchise.

Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope directed by George Lucas is
my favorite movie in the original trilogy. My favorite in the prequel trilogy is Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace directed by George Lucas. And my favorite in the sequel trilogy is Star Wars: The Force Awakens directed by J.J. Abrams.

I would explain to you in separate paragraphs about why each of these three movies is my favorite, but that would be very redundant. You see, the reason I like these movies is that they hold all of the things I love most about any movie: the introduction to characters, settings, plots, etc. I know right that's so boring why would anybody like Star Wars for any other reason then the fighting and the impeccable storylines, which I do love, but I love learning about the character's lives and backgrounds more.

So, maybe the next time you watch these movies, pay more attention to the background, the setting, and who the characters are then just waiting for action.

One other facet of the Star Wars franchise that is the most recent addition to this multi-million dollar company, Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge at the Disneyland Resort and at Hollywood Studios in Walt Disneyworld. I haven't been to "Star Wars land" at either of the parks yet, but I can't wait to visit! I've watched YouTube videos of other people visiting and it looks absolutely amazing and so immersive! From the Storm Troopers arresting people to getting a refreshing drink at Oga's Cantina it looks so real! I've been to the Star Wars Launch Bay at Hollywood Studios and that was stunning! I can't wait to check out this new addition!

Maybe you're a fan of Star Wars, and maybe you're not, but whichever category you fall into, I hope you enjoyed this light account of my Star Wars opinions. Comment below what your favorite Star Wars movie is!
P.S. These pictures were taken during my family's last trip to Walt Disney World in 2018 :)
