Ralph Breaks the Internet

                                         

Ralph Breaks the Internet, directed by Rich Moore and Phil Johnston, is about the beloved gaming characters Wreck-It Ralph and Vanellope von Schweetz and their adventure into the internet.  After the wheel on Vanellope's game "Sugar Rush" breaks, they must travel through the World Wide Web to find eBay, which has the racing wheel needed to fix Vanellope's game. The internet is foreign to the two companions which leads them to have an incredible journey. Through meeting new, amusing friends to getting up to some mischief, this movie has all the classic Disney magic that everyone loves.

I don't think there has ever been a film that fits the category of "family film" better than Ralph Breaks the Internet. There are humourous parts that everyone will find funny, loveable characters that every child will want to be just like, and references to other Disney films that every adult will love. This film, and the original Wreck-It Ralph, are truly family-friendly films, that no matter what age you are, you will find something you love about this film.

                               

One thing that I loved about this film is when Ralph and Vanellope venture into the world of "Oh My Disney". This is one of the most well-done parts of any animated film, and I just absolutely loved it! I'm not sure what you would call it, but it's almost as if Disney breaks, I don't know, the fifth wall! We've all seen in the trailers for this film where the Disney Princesses and Vanellope make fun of what the "classic" Disney Princess is supposed to be. That scene in this film is one of the best! If you love all things Disney, you will absolutely love this part of the film!!

This film also does a great job of encompassing what networking is like in a very humorous way that pokes fun at the impossible-seeming place that is the internet. From going inside different internet experiences, such as the "dark web", an off-brand YouTube, and eBay to trying out new games, this film shows off the internet in innovative ways. If you ever wondered what the websites you love look like from the inside, this film won't disappoint. From the nice urban, modern-looking Pinterest to hectic YouTube, the film designers did a great job giving the internet life!

                                                        

If you loved the first Wreck-It Ralph movie, you will love this film! Of course, Disney always does a fantastic job on every film they make, and this one is absolutely no exception! This film has all the lovely things that every fan loves about Disney movies. However, I'm always a little skeptical when it comes to sequels of really good original Disney films, but I always end up loving them in the end! If you love Wreck-It Ralph or any other Disney animated film, you will not be disappointed by this sequel!
